MOVIE TIME - Flywheel
FLYWHEEL is a movie i suggest that all business man should watch!Rating for me is 9.

Jay Austin (Alex Kendrick) is a car salesman who consistently cheats his customers, even to the point of overcharging his own pastor. He teaches his employee, Bernie Meyers (Tracy Goode), to do likewise. In the meantime, his relationship with his wife and son deteriorates. Austin occasionally attends church, but only because his wife wants him to go. Eventually, Austin realizes that what he is doing is wrong and becomes a born-again Christian, prompting him to change his business practices.
Austin decides to return money to the customers he cheated. He apologizes to the local community, as well as to his wife and son. However, he is now thousands of dollars in debt, and is facing the loss of his dealership if he can't catch up on his payments to the bank. Austin decides not to worry about his situation and to "let God handle it." In the end, God provides a way for Austin to pay off his debt.

MOVIE TIME - Amish Grace
Just a glimpse of the Amish beliefs:
The Amish are a very conservative Christian faith groups, with an Anabaptist tradition. Many of their beliefs are identical to those of many Fundamentalist and other Evangelical churches, including:
1. Adult baptism is done after one makes a commitment to the church.
2. Belief in the Trinity, the virgin birth, incarnation, sinless life, crucifixion, resurrection ascension, and atonement of Jesus Christ.
3. One lives on after death, either eternal rewarded in Heaven or punished in Hell.
4. Salvation is a gift from God, through unmerited grace.
5. The Bible's authors were inspired by God. Their writings are inerrant. The Bible is generally to be interpreted literally.
6. Satan exists as a living entity.
7. Etc.

Another movie i decided to keep is Amish Grace...here you will get to know them more. They have beliefs that i can say nice to learn and there is also a part that i don't approve.Well, it's based on my opinion...your opinion is different from mine of course. Wait for the part when Ida Graber is having a conversation with her husband about her sister whom they have shunned from the community. Anyway, the real score here is the importance of forgiveness. Rating? ummm lets say 7, not bad huh.
Amish Grace a story of forgiveness....
When a group of Amish schoolgirls are taken hostage and killed in their classroom, their parents and the Amish community of Nickel Mines, Pennsylvania, stun the outside world by immediately forgiving the killer. Ida Graber (Kimberly Williams-Paisley), mother of one of the murdered children, has a tougher time than the others accepting the tragedy, but in her anguish and pain, she begins a personal journey of renewed faith, ultimately accepting the heart-wrenching tragedy of losing a child; reconnecting with her husband (Matt Letscher), family, and community; offering forgiveness to the killer; and even showing kindness and compassion to the killer’s widow (Tammy Blanchard )) and children – all in the form of Amish Grace

MOVIE TIME - Fireproof

Part of being a responsible christian is filtering what you're watching. I have an indian friend named RAJ who sells dvd - for years that i've been buying from him he knows already which film will pass my standards. When he arrives i don't usually need to keep on searching which film to take, he separates film that he knows i will take. And i can return dvd's for reasons that he knows already, it's either the movie can't be watched by kids or there are censored scenes...This movie is one i took from him several years ago, and i've been offering this movie to his other buyers.
Fireproof is worth watching...i strongly advise that partners should have a copy of this film...if i were to rate this movie from 1-10, this movie is a perfect 10! Thank God for the wisdom that God gave to the producers of this film.
At work, inside burning buildings, Capt. Caleb Holt lives by the old firefighter's adage: Never leave your partner behind. At home, in the cooling embers of his marriage, he lives by his own rules.Growing up, Catherine Holt always dreamed of marrying a loving, brave firefighter...just like her daddy. Now, after seven years of marriage, Catherine wonders when she stopped being "good enough" for her husband. Regular arguments over jobs, finances, housework, and outside interests have readied them both to move on to something with more sparks. As the couple prepares to enter divorce proceedings, Caleb's father challenges his son to commit to a 40-day experiment: "The Love Dare." Wondering if it's even worth the effort, Caleb agrees-for his father's sake more than for his marriage. When Caleb discovers the book's daily challenges are tied into his parents' newfound faith, his already limited interest is further dampened. While trying to stay true to his promise, Caleb becomes frustrated time and again. He finally asks his father, "How am I supposed to show love to somebody who constantly rejects me?"When his father explains that this is the love Christ shows to us, Caleb makes a life-changing commitment to love God. And with God's help he begins to understand what it means to truly love his wife. But is it too late to fireproof his marriage? His job is to rescue others. Now Caleb Holt is ready to face his toughest job ever...rescuing his wife's heart.

MOVIE TIME - The Notebook
THE NOTEBOOK is secular movie that is one of my favorites! My friend Laarni was the one who advised me to watch this movie, but she strongly advised watching it with my husband. She's been saying a lot of nice things about this movie. So when i had a copy of this, i watched it alone and.. WOW! I cried. not just cried, but cried cried cried a lot! Twas really nice and true-it should be watched with your partner. I was always asking my late husband to come watch the movie with me but i know his likes- he is not into love stories. Baduy yun sa kanya. But one night he told me this exact words, "Ney, maganda pala yung the notebook. Pinanood ko." Nice he appreciated it. I told him it's nicer if you've agreed to watch it with me. The story... my rating is 9, but parental guidance is needed.

The Notebook is an epic love story centered around an old man who reads aloud to an older, invalid woman whom he regularly visits. From a faded notebook, the old man's words bring to life the story about a couple who is separated by World War II, and is then passionately reunited, seven years later, after they have taken different paths. Though her memory faded, his words give her the chance to relive her turbulent youth and the unforgettable love they shared.
As teenagers, Allie ( Rachel McAdams ) and Noah ( Ryan Gosling ) begin a whirlwind courtship that soon blossoms into tender intimacy. The young couple is quickly separated by Allie's upperclass parents who insisit that Noah isn't right for her. Several years pass, and, when they meet again, their passion is rekindled, forcing Allie to choose between her soul mate and class order. This beautiful tale has a particular special meaning to an older gentleman ( James Garner ) who regularly reas the timeless love story to his aging companion ( Gena Rowlands ).

Salin

I onced featured Salin and her husband in one of my blogs but today she is my main topic. Salin is a mother of 2 lovely daughters,a sweet wife to a good husband who both hails from Pampangga, a make up artist, a God fearing mother and .... is now prepared to go back to our homeland FOR GOOD. For most OFW, this idea is the hardest thing to do...bumalik na sa Pinas and di na muling babalik sa abroad. This decision of hers is also a product of her being a submissive wife to her spouse. Plus the fact that they prayed for this. Sure they will not decide to go home IF they didn't have enough savings. Good for them huh cause they were able to save plus they bought properties already. hmmm NOT THAT BIG HOUSES in posh villages huh, what im saying is they have a place that they can call home.
Why i wanted to talk about Salin? It is because when i heard her testimony last November 10, 2011 thursday. ( FB-Thursday group bible study ) She started her testimony with .. I THANK GOD FOR THE TRIALS WE ARE EXPERIENCING. Wow! this is actually how we should pray, with thanksgiving in everything. You see, because her mother in law has been in and out of the hospital they are presently facing emotional & financial crisis. And after the 2nd hospitalization the money that they were able to save have all gone. Emotional - of course masakit yun na malaman mo na ooperahan mother mo, na nahihirapan sya etc... Financial - that's where the big problem steps in ang laking gastusin ng hinaharap nila. She was thinking, how on earth can they pursue their going home when all the money were already spent for her mother in law's hospitalization. She said in her prayers that, why now that i am really decided, excited to go home all of a suddenly maybe they will need to postpone it. And as a mother it's hard for her because she miss her children already plus talaga namang handang handa na siya, in tagalog, NAPURNADA PA. But there are things that plays in her mind, she said maybe there is another plans prepared by God, maybe the children is the one going to travel to kuwait, maybe its not yet the time etc...you see God has a perfect time for everything we just have to wait.
As i listen to her testimony tears just started to fall from my eyes. She is right masakit yun na kung kelan handang handa ka ng umuwi di pa matutuloy. And that is exactly what i am feeling. In fact i also posted this excitement of mine to go home for vacation. Its harder for me kase bakasyon na nga lang mukhang di pa matutuloy. But, i know and im praying that God will hear my prayers that God will set the perfect time for our upcomming vacation. Kung kelan to, hindi ko alam pero.... one thing im sure God has a perfect plan for us.
